This is not a thing theaters do

He posted proof. Someone looked up the theater and their policy is they will cancel showings for low turnout.

I agree most theaters don’t do that, but apparently this one did. The more interesting part of the story are the Redditors saying low turnout is due to anti-woman worldviews. They just can’t help it.

Overseas, situation is even more dreadful for #SUPERGIRL, as the #DCU film starring #MillyAlcock & #JasonMomoa added just 5.7M on FRI, reaching a 11.1M 3-day intl. cume so far over 78 markets.

Allied to its 18M FRI at US #BoxOffice, the CBM with a 175M production price tag not including marketing hits a 29.1M Global cume so far. Eyeing: 37M-42M 3-day weekend in the U.S. 25M-35M 5-day opening overseas For a 62M-77M Global opening

At some point a certain type of marketing and product catch a reputation. Especially because they have been terrible movies

Nobody even knows what this means! She's never explained herself, has she?

WBD had a great 2025 but it's off to a rough start this year. Mortal Kombat 2, The Bride, and now Supergirl are big flops

Oh, they’re so early. They’re in very different stages, I’ll say that. They’re all just such great characters, and I can’t believe I get to figure out what I would do with them the way that we did with Kara and Supergirl. But it’s still early days on both."

“Early days”??

Gunn has no idea how to run a studio, he’s been there for years now and still doesn’t have a script for two of the Trinity characters

Saw it mid day.
I went in hoping it was just people trying to say it sucked. But truth is it was pretty bad. It was on par with Marvels and maybe better than Morbius but not saying much. Lobo wasnt really used well. Good casting great look but didn't really do much. Saving the dog is a plot point like it was in the Superman movie. And I get the lighting complaint. There were no scene that stood out the lighting was bad and mostly brown hue.
This will do bad. Also she isn't the right actress for the role.

It'll be in HBO max next month most likely. I would wait. I have unlimited tickets but hate that I wasted $12 in concessions in this.

2.5-3/10

At least I had a decent time in Jackass and Scary movie. This like Disclosure Day i just wanted to end.

MK2 was a good movie and a lot of fun.
They should have held it to closer to Street Fighter. I wanted to see it again in theaters and it was already gone.

I like that song. Was it the song choice, the version they played or the fit?

Momoa will probably definitely get a Lobo spin-off!
