I enjoyed the first two episodes. Some weird, sometimes interesting editing, but the acting is solid. Amy Ryan is one of the best actresses out there. John Sugar is an impossibly nice guy. Interested to see what kind of demons he has in his closet.

Yea I thoroughly enjoyed the first two episodes. The editing might be a bit too much for some people though. The 2 second cuts to classic movie scenes is definitely different.

Yea I don't think they've even scratched the surface with his character.

The mom of the missing girl was a smoke show, jeez

Reviews mention crazy twist in episode 6 that seems to kill enthusiasm for what went before. First two episodes were good.

Is this common for people with access to the whole season before it airs to reveal something like this to the masses? Seems spoiler-ish.

Just watched and binged this. Was pretty good but the twist was unexpected. But looking back there were signs. Done better than Bulgonia IMO.
I wonder if there will be a season two.

I mean. It was unexpected. I thought it was a dream at first.

I guess it explained the polygot group and how they know most langiages. But I'll say i didn't see THAT coming.

Completely forgot about this one. One of the only apple shows I never finished. Heard the surprise reveal and was like wtf and just didn't go back to it. Probably need to finish it at some point.

Season 2 is coming out sometime this year. I need to do a rewatch to see if my feelings have changed regarding the twist.

I need to catch up, I’m 2 episodes behind and left off at the E2 ending. I’ve kinda been saving it.

I’m about midway on season 2 after throwing it on randomly and I’m digging it. Enjoy the noir aspect and Ferral, and I like what the big twist adds. The opening scene of S2 was kind of disappointing but overall it’s a fun ride and easy to watch with the episodes being usually closer to a half hour

The Apple TV 4K cinematography is distracting sometimes, I wish this one had a little less perfection on the visuals, especially as a noir I wish it were a bit more of a grainy look, but mainly nitpicking

I’m still an episode or two behind, but I’m really digging this show.

Remember when I thought Colin Farrell was overrated? Live and learn. That’s right up there with my Paul Rudd take.
