Quick side note, I just read where Sally-Anne was played by Brian Cox’s actual wife, Nicole Ansari-Cox.

I am not sure how people are thinking Ken had a good episode. His ex wife and kids embarrassed him, his assistant ghosted him, his sister out maneuvered him in public. Outside of being shitty to Roman and saying some delusional stuff at the cemetery, his position is still very ungood.
You're right about all of that, but I saw it as Kendall's last ditch effort to care about others, and it betrayed him one final time. I think he's done with trying to have a heart and he goes into ruthless sociopath mode in this final episode. That's what Logan was, and what Logan wanted all along was for his son Kendall to become him. The irony is that Kendall finally does that but Logan isn't there to see it

I said last week that they didn't do a very good job with a election day episode. West Wing, The Newsroom, etc did a much better job. Last week was so unrealistic with those bozos trying to call shots.
But they killed it with this episode. Ken gave a good speech but that really doesn't change anything for me about him running the company. None of them need to be running it. They are not serious people. They want to try and play Logan and none of them can even remotely resemble him.
I really never have had any type of sympathy for Ken but his wife needed a big stfu. Being at a funeral with 400 other people was not safe for you? Was somebody going to break in the car and kill her and the kids on the way. made absolutely no sense.

Agree with all of this, it wasn't really about Kendall having a good or bad episode but more about how everything that happened setting up Kendall as the new Logan.

Give me Kendall odds. And the episode closes out with him in the back of the limo with music playing.

Those odds are terrible
No way. Shiv has better odds than Ken.

I’ll be happy with the ending as long as Shiv gets screwed over.

I'd much rather Kendall gets screwed over Shiv. I at least like Shivs character (as far as depth/interesting factor) and acting, I really don't like anything about Kendall's.
With the above odds, give me $100 on Tom as CEO.

I don't like Kendall either, even Jeremy Strong himself seems like a weasel, but he's the only person on the top level in the whole show that has shown any human tendencies. I posted before that I think last episode was Kendall's last ditch effort to remain that way, but being human just doesn't work in the world he's in. I've seen that in Greg and Tom too. Greg was always a goofy kid but even he has gotten more ruthless culminating with fricking Shiv up in the episode before last. Tom has always been soft when it comes to Shiv but after that fight with her on the balcony he's done with being human too. I wouldn't be surprised if it's Ken with Greg and Tom standing together at the end

Liking the characters is a complex thing because they never felt love from their dad. Like t hey never really had a dad. Even Connor called them love sponges and he himself said "i can live without love" because he never had it.

I think folks just don't like the method acting stuff (and rightfully so) but from all accounts he's a decent person. He (and another friend) moved in with Michelle Williams after Heath Ledger died to help her with their kid after Ledger passed.

I'd never heard that, that's pretty awesome. I think my weasel comment was more about him just looking like one

Some of his responses in the 60 minutes interview sounded a lot like Kendall. Sorta gave me Waingro vibes, wondering how much he was really acting.

I've seen a couple of interviews with him and other cast members and he seems a little different for sure

“Uhhhh so THAT just happened!”
- Shiv Roy
That’s pretty much how all of her dialogue goes, save for the balcony scene which was actually really good.

I was out of the loop when the first season came out and randomly turned it on and binged it and felt like "wtf that was a really really good show," I agree sorta sad its ending, but at least they are ending when they should. We'll see if they stick the landing. Regardless, we will always have "this one goes away, this one saves the day."

An article popped up on my phone about how awful the "Max" rollout has been and how everybody needs to prepare for it tomorrow. At the end the guy said "there's an extra 28 minutes for them just to say ____ is the new CEO". I hope he was just being a smartass and it hasn't leaked
