Didn’t put this on movie board because it isn’t a detailed discussion of the movies themselves.

I just watched The Matrix for the first time. Ended up watching the other two the next night.

The first at the time was ground breaking. The other two were just money grabs.

Harry Potter

I didn't see any of them until the last one was out for 3-4 years.

Not a movie, but I had never seen a Sopranos episode. But when I was laid up with an injury from work, I binge watched all of them.

I didn’t watch The Godfather movies until the late 80’s/early 90’s some time.

I’ve never watched more than 5 minutes of any of the Star Wars movies, or the Harry Potter stuff. They just don’t interest me at all.

Never saw a full movie. Only saw bits and pieces when channel surfing.

I watched around 20 minutes of Star Wars about 30 years after it came out. I was AMAZED.

Amazed at how bad the acting was (aside from Guinness). It was like something out of a 1970s industrial film.

Still never seen a movie or read a book.

Not for any particular reason other than I just was never interested enough.

An M/TV board regular can probably confirm, but I'm pretty sure Guinness almost declined the role of Obi-Wan because he thought the dialogue was so bad.

Hard to act when the material is weak.

I watched the 2nd one after it was on dvd. Ended up going back to watch thre 1st before moving on the the 3rd one.

Oceans movies are up there too. I saw 13 in the theater before 11 & 12.

TV Series...Sopranos, Entourage, & 24. I watched later seasons and despite owning them for many years haven't went back to watch those I missed. (I started West Wing in 2005 and flew through them in a month.)

I saw the first one in the theater. My daughter just wanted to go through them and she was mad at the build-up. We watched three, then went on hiatus.

I have never seen any of the Batman movies, or Harry Potter. I did watch the Wham!, Biff!, Kapow! versions as a kid.

I’ve still never seen The Matrix.

Back when it came out, my friend’s roommate wouldn’t stop talking about it. He saw it several times in the theater. He talked about it so much that it annoyed me and I avoided watching it out of spite (not much going on in my life in the late 90s, I guess).

Anyway, all the slo-mo bullet stuff and whatnot was so prevalent on tv and in parodies around that time that I feel like I’ve seen it — even though I’ve never actually watched a second of it.

I feel like at this point it would just disappoint me to watch it.
