Let’s all be honest for a second. Had that warning not popped up. 99 out of 100 people in here would have never ventured their mind to the shootings at the school. Why because a fictional character whose fictional powers killing a bunch of people in a hospital is in line with the shows storyline.

I think it just had more to do with dead, bloodied kids laying around all over the lab

Just started season 3. Thought I would give it a try since a lot of people were talking about it. Brings back a lot of memories of being a teenager in the 80's.

Just got done with Volume I of season four. Wow. What a plot twist at the end. I had a feeling that Vecna was someone from our world but I loved the way they revealed it. Eleven is obviously super powerful. It's no wonder why her handlers feared her so much in the first season. Also...I got serious biblical vibes as One fell into the Upside Down and transformed into Vecna:
"For I beheld Satan as he fell from Heaven, like lightning..."

She's very much like Phoenix from 1970s/80s X-Men comics. It would be just like the Duffers to do an homage to that- they even mention X-Men #134 in the first season.

What’s the feeling on the group that was bullying 11 when the cameras were off and they had access to the rainbow room? 001 said Poppa was gonna let them kill her because they were afraid of her. Y’all think that was actually true, or did 001 make all that happen?

I'm 100% in favor of warnings. Don't want to watch because you're offended? Here's your warning, but we are still showing it, so don't complain.
I love how some older Disney movies say the movie was made in another time and that now they may not be acceptable. Perfect. Use it as a teaching lesson instead of canceling the movie/show.

Fine with me. It's the upside down after all. It's not like everything there makes perfect sense anyway.
What I'm more concerned about is how a plastic bag keeps a flashlight from 1986 from shorting out at the bottom of a lake, and how anyone could see anything at the bottom of a lake at night, even with a shitty 80's flashlight.

A good theory. However, this doesn't account for the fact that One was cast into the Upside Down by Eleven in 1979 - four years prior to Will being pulled into the Upside Down.
