There was a small amount of GALA community and blacks in this country but they are almost a majority of almost any show now. The virtue kicks in when they put a "normie" in their place. Not the strongest start but a Strong strong finish that I partially pieced together but was still surprised at the end and left me wanting more.
It definitely built and grew on me and the things I wasn’t a fan of in the first couple episodes worked out or became diminished by the end.

I think they tried to nerd her up a bit plus this is pretty much her first time actually dealing with anything from the upside down. She was there at the mall but didn’t do much

You people are insane, absolute looney tunes, and ruin this entire website. It’s not LGBTQ people, not minorities, it’s you that cannot go one fricking thread without getting into a fit about representation.
It is barely fricking mentioned in this series. Nearly everyone is white and straight. It does nothing to impede on your life to have other types of characters, nothing at all. But it does make a huge difference to people who have had different experiences and maybe have felt ashamed...likely due to people like you.
I wish we could just create a board for that discussion alone and RA any posts in threads like these so we can stop derailing. We’re here to talk about Stranger Things...period. Not your hair brained conspiracy theories that do nothing to prove your points and only serve to show the type or person you are.

The second dimension, and psychic abilities set in a romanticized 80s is believable enough but my suspension of disbelief stops with the black sheriff, black basketball players, evil black general and the one lesbian.
