It is what it is at this point. Lots of new movies coming this weekend. It won't do well. It was always going to be closer to Rogue 1.

Tried to tell you the early holiday run for this movie was fooling you. They are fortunate the holidays had no competition this year. It was the only real option for a family movie night. (besides a late run Jumanji)

No, I'm the ghost of Star Wars present and past (except AOTC and TLJ)--and hopefully of Star Wars future.

Thursday
2.2 Dom
3.9 int

Total run now at 952

I don't think it passes Rogue 1.
1917 releasing today and Bad Boys next week.

At this point, will it reach $1 billion?

Where are all of the posters who insulted anyone who said there would be a backlash and that this movie would underperform?

It will.

These obtuse people pop up on all topics and are proved wrong again and again. Turns out having a good product matters.

If it doesn’t exceed TLJs gross (It won’t) then it will have underperformed.

Won’t come close to TLJ. It’ll finish just under 1.1b

Which is a shame, because it is clearly a better movie. What’s troubling is that KK will use this and Solo’s disaster to double down on her bullshite rather than abandon it all ASAP.

Favreau has put work in for Disney. Let him be the HNIC of Lucasfilms. Or at least the Star Wars side of LF.

I saw it with my son last night and we both really loved it. I thought it was awesome, and I will see it again.

For me - 9.5/10

Yes.

These numbers should surprise no one. They're similar to the other two.

It was just a remake of return of the Jedi? All Abrams did was remake the 2 lesser original Star Wars. I mean sure it was okay but literally just 2 remakes. Pretty meh

Basically a whole bunch of member berries

I’m not a traditional Star Wars super fan but I liked all of the “newer trilogy” including Episode 9

Him or Filoni.

They do have some incredibly talented people who love Star Wars and want to work in that setting.

As an example, maybe she would have bombed, maybe she wouldn't, but I'd much rather have seen Deborah Chow's take on The Last Jedi then he who shall not be named. She seems to love the setting if nothing else given her work on The Mandolorian.
