Finn vs. Kylo fight. Finn held his own. Isn't Kylo supposed to be a master fighter/jedi? How is Finn putting up a decent fight against him with a weapon (light saber) I'm assuming never was trained. Especially considering Kylo was trained all his life?

I thought that as well at first, but on second viewing I noticed that Ren beat him down. Finn got one shot on Ren's shoulder but he was getting handled that whole fight. I have no issues with it

He's dead. He was burned. Snoke is using Ren's obsession with Vader to lure him in

No because it was confirmed he isn't

John Harrison was not Kahn in Star Trek into darkness. It was definitively confirmed several times before movie came out....

Anakin is dead. He was a force ghost at the end of Jedi. Would force powers transfer through the cloning process? And if so, why didn't the Sith just clone themselves an army of Sith?

Just got home from my second viewing. A couple of things.
- No way Kylo left her on Jakku. He would know he left his cousin on that planet and wouldn't act like he didn't know her or was shocked by her abilities with the force. That's a lame theory. If she is Lukes daughter, either Luke or her mother left her on Jakku.
- After watching the end again, I'm convinced that she's Rey Skywalker because of Lukes reaction when he sees her. This isn't a quizzical look. It's a sorrowful one. Luke looks on the verge of tears when he sees her.
- Where the hell is Anakin, Yoda, and Ben? We hear Ben and Yodas voices in Rey's force vision. I wonder if Hayden Christensen makes a force ghost appearance in Ep 8. Obviously Ben can't, and they can't retcon Ewan Macgregor into that.

Yeah they can, and they already laid the foundation. Ewan McGregor's voice was also used in the flashback.

They can just say that Obi-Wan Wan appeared to Luke as old Ben, because it would make Luke trust him more.

Voila, we have a new Obi-Wan force ghost.

Just show young Obi-Wan. They don't even need to explain it.

I suspect there will be a metric ton of cameo's when Rey walks into the Jedi temple. I think things are going to get pretty weird inside of the Jedi temple.

The fact he touched him and/or the fight lasted more than 7 seconds is completely preposterous

A lot of you seem to forget that Ren was severely injured by Chewies blaster.

I agree with this, but I think it has to do with Luke's LS is just more powerful than Ren's. You can see the difference of the sabers. Luke's is more full and Ren's, to me, is more electrical looking. I don't think he's able to make one correctly yet.

Today was my 3rd time seeing it. Here's some of my thoughts.

Han starts to know who Rey is when she bypasses whatever it is on the Falcon. The way they look at each other is rather odd.

When she follows Finn at the Cantina, Maz asks Han "who's the girl," and the scene cuts away. After Rey is called to the saber and has the visions Maz comes to her out of breath to explain some stuff.

When Finn comes to talk to Leia she says "Han told me everything," but it seems like he really told her something about Rey not just that Ren took her

Throughout the movie Rey says "I don't know how I did it." She is awesome at everything so she is either Luke's daughter, or he found her knowing she was the most powerful.

I'm starting to think that Han or Leia, or both, dropped her off on Jakku. Did the MF happen to get stolen and brought there, or did he leave it to the dealer as a payment and leave on a shuttle?

I read somewhere in here that Luke may have been standing in front of a tombstone. It does look like one, but I don't know.

I still don't like Starkiller base. How's it move? How does it fire this giant solar beam and it splits off to hit each planet? I know there's no answer, but I still don't like it.

C3PO says the Republic's fleet is destroyed, so I wonder how much fire power they'll have in the next one. I do think VIII will be darker like Empire and have Leia die maybe Chewie too.

Jason Isaacs would've been a good Roose Bolton IMO.

Charles Dance would've been a great villainous Star Wars character too.

Imagine someone creating a saber that extends like 20 feet. You approach another Jedi standing 15 feet away just holding your saber handle pointing towards them and bam when you turn it on it instantaneously light speed impales them from 15 feet away without them even expecting it.

Just got out of my 3rd viewing. The moment when the lightsaber flies into Rey's hand and the Force Theme wells up will probably always give me chills even though I know it's coming. So good.

Is this the falcon leaving young Rey behind as she cries during the flash back scene?
