Star Wars Spinoff Shows For Captain Phasma And Rose Tico Reportedly In Development

Real fricking genius Kathleen Kennedy. New stories?! Maybe the Mandalorian (unless that’s focused on Boba Fett), but a Casian backstory? A Leia backstory? What the frick is this shite? Just get it over with and do the Dexter Jettster spin-off, you fricking hack.
And now onto the other two:
Yes Disney, I will accept your thousand dollar bribe to say this, and for two thousand I will do it without laughing.
So let’s make a tv show about a character that everyone complained about. Ratings killer! Genius.
The untapped potential of ruining even more plans through social justice and getting everyone killed. I can’t imagine how it would ever get cancelled after 3 episodes. Brilliant.
At this point, Kathleen Kennedy reminds me of when Mr Garrison was trying to get fired for being gay. I’m sure after The Last Jedi she went on a similar rant of “I shoved a gerbil up your arse and they want to give me a god damn medal!” She has to be trying to get fired and receive a golden parachute.

I understand why the film version of Phasma wouldn't garner any excitement, but her novel is a damn good story.
Rose though, I just don't get it... I don't get that at all. KK has to be the most tone-deaf person on earth if she believes this would be a good idea.
Furthermore, I don't really see the need for anything about Leia outside of the Forces of Destiny stuff they're already producing.
I have full faith in Filoni to make anything animated not terrible.

If they really want to make a solo story for a female character...Ahsoka Tano! There is so much potential there from when she left in Clone Wars, to resurfacing in Rebels.
I'm still holding out hope that she will appear in Episode IX, but who am I kidding

I gave up on Star Wars after TLJ. I didn't even see Solo. Not going to see Episode 9. frick all of it.

100% this. She has a novel as well, albeit one of the weaker ones as it's more directed at early teens. Her arch in Rebels was one of the high points of the show. If they were to focus on Snips, writers could focus on a post-CW or post-Rebels story arch and fans would rally around the idea. Her story has so much more potential than a fricking Rose Tico story.

I want a Lor San Tekka spin-off. Because hey, he is just as interesting as the other charachters they forgot to develop, like Snoke and Phasma and Maz and Kyle Ren and whoever Benicio Del Toro played. Oh, and the chubby X-wing pilot, Snap Wexley! Can’t forget him either.
TLJ is awful. It was so bad. It went GOTs with the killing of charachters but forgot to make you care one way or the other about them. As for Episode IX, I just don’t care. I have no reason to.

God forbid we get a Darth Vader or fully realized Jedi Luke Skywalker saga. They don't have to be a trilogy, I'd take one film of Luke pulling off some Legends type Force powers. Hell, give StarWarsTheory the production budget needed to flesh out his Vader story in a mini-series like the BBC does with Sherlock.

But how can we save what we love? Only spend money on OT/PT related material? Continue to boycott the box office? Tank ratings for these shows that may happen?
