Star Wars News - Lando Calrissian Series

Looks like Donald Glover is coming back as Lando for a Disney+ series.
Feeling hopeful that this will be a solid series because of the character and the actor. Felt like he was easily one of the strongest parts of "Solo."

I believe this is about the diversity check box in a way. Not to say it wont be good...but Disney has to pay their dues.

If done right this could be entertaining and cloud city has potential as a place the empire didn’t mess with until empire strikes back.

Wut. Donald Glover is one of the hottest names out there right now and lando is a known property for them they want to cash in on

I enjoyed Solo and will watch another spinoff. I agree with what others have said and would enjoy a Mandalorian type story.

Who says they cant have a good series that checks off the diversity box? It's a common pattern in the modern era. Black panther was made to be a black oriented movie....so Disney got brownie points for that and it was also a good solid and entertaining flick. Diversity and quality are not mutually exclusive.
