Finished it late yesterday... Worst of the 3 seasons by far IMO
Spoilers:
Baby Angle and having to play the games was by far the stupidest thing of the entire series
The VIPs were 10xs worse than they were in Season 1
Overall, it just felt mailed in. Think I had read the writer didn't want to do it and it def comes across

Random thoughts (spoilers) through episode 4:
- The Hide and Seek game doesn’t really make sense to me mechanically. If the Blue team is just allowed to kill Red team members without penalty, seems like the logical strategy would be for the Blue team to gang up and fight back. Hell, just gather everyone into one room and block the door.
- I get that the type of people that would join a Squid Games competition probably are not the most moral people in the world, but I have a hard time believing that this many people are not only onboard with the idea of but are actively trying to kill a newborn baby. But I guess that’s why they made the narrative choice to only have men remaining.

3 episodes in so spoilers
Glad the Shaman lady got it finally
The baby angle is terrible
The VIPs are cheesy and terrible. Really bad
I'm ready for this show to end at this point. I want the detective to come out on top.

Man this last season was really bad. Was so ready for it to end around episode 3. The baby angle as many others stated, was so bad.

It was a horrible season with a pretty lame ending. They 100% mailed it in. Don't think the creator had any desire of doing another season after the first, is what it felt like.

I was reading that he didn't really plan or want more seasons, but he was vastly underpaid for season 1 considering how viral it went. Netflix offered him a truckload of money to keep going so he made it to cash in.
Which is pretty ironic considering the first season was a message against capitalism and the elites lol.
I enjoyed season 3 actually I find the whole universe they created fascinating. We do not need an American version though I hated them dangling that carrot

You sadly know it’s coming. That was a pretty big cameo to not have it go anywhere.

Her fricking acting was dogshit… the slap looked nowhere real and the whole thing was just awkward.
Again, terrible season through and through.

Just finished. That was retarded. The baby storyline was so forced

I thought episode 2 was intense.

I e only seen the first episode so far. It was defend ti guess, but the absolute absurdity of the hiders in the hide and seek game not getting together beforehand and planning a strategy was egregiously stupid. They had two minutes to hide and took almost 30 full seconds to decide what they were gonna do (hide or find the exit doors). That was ridiculous.
Interested to see where that game goes. I’ll prolly watch another one or two episodes tonight.

Just finished it. I thought most of it was pretty good when it came to the actual games and understanding the decisions people made (except for the whole trying to kill a baby thing). It just didn’t feel like a satisfying conclusion IF this is really the last season. The epilogue felt kind of lame.
We didn’t really learn all that much more about the games themselves and it felt like we were right back at status quo in the end. I guess that might have been the point, but there was no catharsis in the end.
The entire policeman/brother subplot was essentially pointless like it has been the entire series.
MAJOR SPOILERS
- They killed off most of the characters we got to know in the 2nd season rather quickly. Felt like we ended with a bunch of cartoonish villains who barely got any screen time except the old man.

Yeah I didn’t care for the ending at all
It was pretty obvious how the baby part was gonna go
And that ending.. yuck.

Finished the second episode (Starry Night). It was pretty good but man it felt like they dragged that out as long as possible. Took forever to get through a single game of hide and seek.
There were several overly ridiculous parts to it too. But that’s Squid Game I suppose.

It’s more squid games I don’t see why that’s a problem. Nobody’s gonna force you to watch.

Hate that Gi-Hun died but I get it. I thought he and the baby would get out and he would raise her.
I fricking HATED them dangling an American version at the end with Cate Blanchett’s awful arse. I’m not looking forward to that

I kind of think that was Squid Games's creator making fun of Americans and how we throw lame arse women (like Blanchett) into roles traditionally played by men.
1. I had no clue what Ddakji was prior to Squid Game, so having them play that with Americans in an American version is stupid.
2. Cate Blanchett cannot be taken seriously in that role. I just rolled my eyes at that final part.

yup, the mannerisms and stare, all fricking terrible.
Like others have said, wish they would have answered some of backstory like connection between the two 001's (claim is father/son) or the claim that 001 and 456 were related because of the milk thing.
