it's getting harder for me to understand how 455 people disappear every year (or however frequent) at the same exact time and it's not a huge issue for police/the country.
Funny thing to me is that all the people in the movie view people being in debt like the lowest form of life...

Overall I thought it was better than I expected. One of my favorites was when that guy kept missing the stone. when he finally made it with his foot over the line.

How did they find Gi Huns gps tooth but completely miss Thano’s gaudy necklace full of drugs and grandmas hairpin knife? Make it make sense

Drugs and a knife make the game more interesting and have no threat of revealing the location of the games?

One of the more annoying parts of the season for me too. I think it can be justified though by them just saying the other items just create more chaos for the games though so they let them in. Same as the forks being added to the meals.

That's 100% what it is haha they could've taken them at any time just like the old lady's knife. Those things add entertainment for the viewers, a GPS tracker doesnt

Why would they care about those things getting in?
They certainly found them and didn't care.

I would assume they probably had a camera zoom in on him each time he took a pill, and people could place additional bets on that. We really don't have a lot of detail about how people gambled on the event, but I would assume almost anything and everything could be bet on.

I've thought about stuff like this a lot in the sense of I wonder how much we miss by just inherent cultural differences.
Rockchlk astutely pointed out what is likely the biggest plot hole with the yearly disappearing Koreans. My next biggest plot hole is how in the world do these people not unanimously vote to GTFO after red light green light every time. They have a sense of how dangerous it is and if they do the math in their head should realize only 1 of them is getting out alive. But it may be something cultural in terms of being in debt and hopeless over there.

They didn’t “find”… I think it’s pretty clear from how they did the camera angle when the dentist left the hotel that someone was watching them. Likely tortured dentist to see what was going on.
Also, the knife and drug necklace add more chaos into the games, whereas the tracker would lead Frontman’s brother right to them.

Most people when faced with a real possibility of death would vote to get out. That said, I don't think most of the players are thinking they will be the last man standing. Rather, they realize that with each game, the pot increases and the number to split it decreases. Most of them have a number in mind. Unfortunately, the vote has not changed as much as it should have because of this understanding.

Precisely. The moment the first bullet is fired in Red Light, Green Light, Gi-hun's credibility should have been at an all-time high with the other 455 players.
One bit of a plot hole to me was Gi-hun assuming that the games would be the same across the entire run. It never occurred to him that there would be more than those 6 games?

How is that a plot hole? He had no clue what he was in for. After the first game started and it was the same as the first game during his first time there he assumed it could be the same but he didn’t seem that positive it would be the same when he told a few people what the 2nd was.

Maybe it's not a plot hole then, just bad writing.

Why did Gi-hun at no point offer to pay off people’s debts or use his millions of dollars in a trade for their vote to end the game? All he needed was one or a few votes in a couple of instances.

Bc they didn't believe him anymore after the second game wasn't the shape game... they all called him a liar and nutjob.
So you think they are going to trust him that he's got millions of dollars to pay them?

I mean it’s completely realistic to think the games could possibly be the same lol. He’s only been there once and doesn’t know how far it goes back like the cop did. The cop hid a lot of info from him bc of his brother
He’s only been once. He gets put back in and everything is the same all the way up until the end of the first game. Every person in the world would have the thought cross their mind that’s it’s going to be the exact same bc it was the exact same all the way up until that point

Right and why would they change it much since as far as he knows, only 1 person survives and no one besides himself would ever consider coming back.
