Anyone seen this?

It had a 94% on rotten tomatoes so the wife and I watched it on demand today.

Good god I've lost all faith in rotten tomatoes. What a pile of shite. Most over the top stupid comedy I've seen in a long time

Also, Melissa McCarthy is not funny. Her and Leslie Jones are one trick ponies.

What a waste of two hours

I liked it. The McCarthy/Feig duo used to be legit.

I thought it was a funny but not a classic comedy.

I thought it was a pretty solid movie. It's not a all time classic, but it's funny and rewatchable.

The supporting cast is great. Law, Statham, and the British guy were fantastic.

McCarthy is actually watchable in the movie and has her moments. She does well when she had a strong cast around her. She can't carry a movie on her own though.

And I might be in love with Rose Byrne. As I've said before, I'd hate frick the bitch out that woman.

Statham is the only reason to watch this movie.

I ate a pile of microchips and shite them back out as a computer
I once parachuted from a building using a raincoat as a parachute. Broke both legs on impact and still had to pretend I was in a fricking cirque de soleil show

What is their one trick? Being fat and obnoxious?

One of her best movies.

That's not really saying much. I was coerced into watching it by a female, I've watched worse for the same reason.

Opposite actually...only time she acts like that in the movie is when she's being out of character on purpose (and it's funny).

I don't like her very much but I enjoyed this one.

Sorry I disagree. Didn't find her one bit funny in this one

Having a fat chick yelling f bombs and walking in a room and killing 8 professional killers all pointing guns on her by grabbing them by the jaw and shite like that. So over the top and just not funny

Even my wife said it was terrible and she loves stupid movies

I think it's a 5/10 or 6/10 movie.....some will like it and some won't. I thought it was alright.

Not sure about the 94% score on RT....but eh well.

Spy is in same class as If Looks Could Kill. It's a comedic spy movie with a bent toward being absurd.

But it can be entertaining, especially if it has some levity or strong supporting characters.

My problem with Spy is that it just has some moments that seem like they just wanted to jam in some slapstick, like the end of the first fight scene. It's just too much jammed into a scene.

i chuckled quite a bit. wouldn't have seen it in theaters or rented, but it was on HBO. i was ready for her normal obnoxious humor and it didn't show up till half way through the movie, but the way in which it did pulled it off for me.

Movie was hilarious. Statham/Law/Byrne were great in those roles.

McCarthy is probably the worst actress of the decade. She's not funny at all imo.

The M/TV Board says you don't know how to use Rotten Tomatoes.
