Maybe Marvel uses Peter for the Civil War movie where he is revealed to the world as Spiderman, and decides to hang up the mantel. Then Sony picks up with Morales taking over the mantel or something?

After waiting all this time to see how Marvel would use Peter Parker, I would be severely disappointed if they went straight to Miles Morales. They could introduce MM later but please start with the original and give your best recognized character some justice on screen.

I think I'd be ok with going with Morales, since they've tried and failed with Peter Parker so many times.

or he does what he does in civil war, during the movie, then has what happens to him after, and then ends up sacrificing himself or something... dies, and we have the Miles Morales story fall into our laps right there.

On a serious note, if they are looking for a black guy then you know where their priorities are and the quality will reflect that. if they auditioned a bunch of people and a black guy was the best then who cares
