I was not sure about revealing Spider-Man's identity at the end of the last movie, and I still am, but I do like that we're seeing the consequences of that. It doesn't look like that'll be undone, since living with a public identity will be one of the lessons this movie is setting up. I much prefer Spidey with a secret identity, but they can still win me over on this.

Uhhh did you take a shite through the last like 15 minutes of the movie?

dont know if already discussed, but how is it explained that Jonah Jameson is the same in name and likeness (J.K. Simmons) in multiple universes?

Comic book multiverses have always had a mixture of exact and non-identical doppelgangers, ever since Gardner Fox created the concept in 1961.

Could also make the mathematical argument that an infinite # of universes = 100% chance JK Simmons reps a couple Jonah's

They could’ve made an actual large, and imposing athletic Flash, who could be any other race. But this character is just pointless. He literally serves no purpose.

I think they did it because they didnt want to glorify bullying.

Instead the made the "bully" a complete loser in himself and easy to laugh at. Normally Flash is a bully and is popular and (im not saying i agree with this) but it could make kids think being a bully is cool. So instead they just made him obviously lame to not glorify bullying. **shrug** who the frick knows. lol

Bully's nowadays aren't really the typical physical brute, they're more like snobby rich kids which is what that character definitely delivered.

Also just finally saw it today. It was… wild.

I struggle to say it was great, but in terms of fan service and crowd pleasing, they killed it.

I enjoyed it but I came away thinking they tried a bit hard on some places.

Got around to seeing it tonight. I loved it. Superhero movies don’t give me the chills but for some reason when all 3 spidermans silhouetted against the moon I got them. That was awesome.

I grew up on the Tobey movies, my only quip is that we didn’t get any back and forth between him and Dafoe.

The dialogue between the 3 spideys was great though, so much fan service but I loved it.

Speaking of Dafoe, dude was made for Goblin. His speech there while first going mad again was perfection.

The acting was incredible. When Andrew saved MJ I nearly started crying. Easily one of the best marvel movies.

That moment was so good to me, maybe the best in the movie. Garfield acted his arse off there. Crazy that one if the worst Spider-Man movies led to such a great moment in this one.

Anybody think we’re gonna get Ned as Hobgobby in the future?

Probably somebody mentioned it in the previous 21 pages, but some dialogue and things related to Ned kind of hinted at a possibility.

With his affinity for magic, it’s more likely that he’s Mephisto.

Maybe. The groundwork could have been laid between his name and the meta references

If they did then my guess is in the third film of this trilogy. He goes to MIT with MJ next film. Then either a Stark technology or other accident disfigurement or just another bad serum which alters him propels his conversion into the Hobgoblin?

So here’s the ultimate badass Bridger Walker was invited on the set by Tom Holland. Bridger got mutilated saving his sister’s life from a rabid dog. He’s an amazing kid, and man the pussy that is going to be thrown this kid’s way when he gets to be college aged is going to be nuts. There are fathers looking across the living room at their daughters around his age hoping she ends up with him or someone like him. Good for them bringing him on set.

You know for a fricking fact that when he’s an adult he’ll take a bullet for your daughter. Yes, that is marriage material for almost any father.
