It was odd to me that they took the weird balding Max no one seemed to like and Made him just regular Jamie Foxx. Also Electro didn't know Peter Parker was Spiderman "your from Queens and save poor people, I thought you were black".

After a second viewing, I’m kind of Ok with them just rolling with Zendaya as Mary Jane (Michelle Jones Watson). She’s really grown on me. And I hope they bring back Ned too.
But I do hope they give us some Obsorns soon.

Upon second viewing the acting stuck out to me a little more. These guys could have dialed it in to get a paycheck but they brought it. This is especially true of Garfield who proved he was a great Spider-Man stuck in bad movies. A great moment of redemption for him.

Totally agree with you guys on that. Didn't love the Garfield movies but he was phenomenal in this, really stood out to me.

Saw it this morning. I'm still in disbelief. The whole movie was like they gave 8 year old me and my action figures a few $100 million to make a movie. In a good way.
