If you have Disney + the season (was it 2?) in daredevil where they introduce him and the two seasons of the punisher are some of the best tv superhero series’ there are. Very binge worthy and very well done

Very good, very grounded movie... for as grounded as a superhero movie that features a telepath can be. Really enjoyed it.
The only thing that really bumped me, and it's largely meaningless, is how Ned and MJ are able to get a big arse apartment in the city even though it's established that MJ doesn't have a job. That's some Rachel and Monica shite.

Writers seem like they have no idea what to do with Carol maybe they made her too strong or not relatable enough. Shame cause Brie is a fantastic actress, not hate to Florence of course she's been amazing as Yelena

Not required but highly recommended. Not because it's essential to the Punisher tv series, but because the Daredevil tv series is probably the best "super hero" tv series made (the original 3 seasons, not the more recent Daredevil: Born Again).

The movie was great. Probably one of my favorite Spiderman films almost instantly.
I guess we're going to go to go with the logic that mutants have been here forever, but they are just now being brought to the forefront. I know Kamala and Namor were revealed to be a mutant. It will be interesting to see who is Professor X and Magneto in this universe, and where the hell have they been the past 20 years.
Department of Damage Control is definitely going to be leading the anti-mutant propaganda. With Jean putting a hex over half of New York City, their job will be pretty easy.
For a bit there, I thought we were getting a trailer fake-out and the only Hulk we were getting was Professor Hulk. I'm so glad we got to see the real Hulk in action for the first time in so long. I hope he never allows himself to be suppressed by Banner again.
It was probably purposeful, but I definitely got some Gwen Stacy vibes when Peter saved MJ. Although I knew she wasn't going to die.

In hindsight, this Jean Grey did some very bad things. It sets up an interesting path for the X Men to be true anti heroes living in secrecy and not the world’s worst kept secret with jets and crazy stuff always happening around their “school”.

Oh yeah Jean did some pretty messed up stuff in the movie, something I'm sure the DoDC will absolutely use to fear monger about mutants as they become more prevalent. Namor attacking Wakanda is another problem tooz don't think Kamala has done anything bad but I'm sure they'll find a way to twist it

Yeah…that probably should have found the cutting room floor. Also, I’d have had her psychic wave just cover the facility and not the city.
This does fit with the Doomsday trailer though with them fighting the Avengers. They could be portrayed as a rogue (no pun intended) element which could fit within the X Men mythos. They were never the cool kids like the Avengers.

Not required but the Netflix Daredevil show is very good in its own right.
