Only way this could work is if Asher somehow rigs every male gladiator she’s fighting to lose as a propaganda scheme to make her look more elite than she actually is to give him a higher status. Then the spinoff at the end could be her actually having to fight a real gladiator and over coming adversity.

BRUH My intention was simply stating that there were no black women gladiators in the Roman Empire days and much like other shows like Vikings Hollywood loves to incorporate Black people in these shows and put them in lead rolls.
