First time watch and already on season 6. Can’t stop. Damn, what a great series. Where would you put it all time? Got to be near the top. Best I’ve seen.

While I really enjoyed it, I'm fully aware that it is not anywhere near the top of any kind of all time great TV show list.

I enjoyed the first few seasons but towards the end, it was a struggle to get through.

It's a great binge show.

It's dumb and trashy in retrospect, but it's great while you're in the middle of it.

First episode was as far as I got. I just can't stand that kid (Jax).

And I was #TeamShield the entire way - big fan of Sutter's work with Ryan on The Shield.

I just finished The Shield and really liked it, but no where near as much as SOA.

Side note:

I'm not going to go that far - in fact I'm in the middle of a "comparison" rewatch between the 2.

The Shield is as good as The Wire, though, IMHO, for sure. For that matter, both are as good or better than The Sopranos and Breaking Bad. Those are my top 4 shows of that type.

It was entertaining and I did enjoy it while watching it..but it's nowhere near the top of my all time list. Glad you enjoyed it so much though

PortHudsonPlaya has to make a tough decision that will affect the board

I flew through the first 4-5 seasons but never ended up finishing it. Got way to ridiculous and repetitive with the plot lines

Watched the first four seasons and liked it, but then tailed off as it became more and more soap opera-ish.

That’s because there are only 3 or 4 plots that they just keep doing over and over.

I watched the whole thing though! Haha!

During the final season, I was entertained by the comments on this board as I was by the show itself.
