I feel the need...the need for speed
Every time I hear this song I think of Top Gun and that stupid bar scene.
You've lost that loving feeling

Can't believe nobody has said this one yet.
The Cars-Moving in Stereo... Fast times at Ridgemont High
Although there are so many songs related to Forrest Gump, this is the one I always think of.

I was going to say "Man of Constant Sorrow" from O'Brother Where Art Thou? but that whole soundtrack is beautiful and I can't pick just one.
Someone mentioned "Dazed and Confused" earlier as being tied to Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion," and that's awesome; I always think of "Tuesday's Gone" during the scene where the party is ending for the night. I think there's a lot more to that scene than that movie gets credit for.
My vote goes to The Breakfast Club - "Don't forget about me"

I think of "Rock n Roll Hoochie Coo" when I think of Dazed and Confused, but with movies like that that have great soundtracks it's hard to pick one.
Just thought of another one..."Shout" and Animal House

Groundhog day was on tv tonight, and that obviously has a very memorable song associated with it

I know it is actually a TV show, but "I don't want to wait" is one of the most memorable songs used not exclusively written for a film/show.
