Yeah I edited because I didn't keep reading until after I posted that

Yeah and guys like that don’t tend to ask how old because 1.) they don’t care, 2.) they think they’ll be able to plausibly deny that they didn’t know
It doesn’t help that this was all done stone cold sober
he can’t even be like “I was lonely and drunk on the road and would message chick not knowing how old they were”. Seems pretty clear this was his main goal and objective to find girls in that age range

If you EVER have to ask how old someone is and you are over 30, they are too young, so don't even bother.
What a creep
What a creep

Exactly
I honestly don’t know what his next move is in terms of a response. There’s not really an angle to play to save your career besides just trying to say that all these things are photoshopped, it’s all fake, etc and going full on edgelord from that point on

to be fair, the second conversion with the same girl is nearly a year later.
Yeah but again that doesn’t make it much better
Dude is 30 At the time and could easily crush as much poon as he wanted from the chuckle frickers in the audience without creeping on high schoolers

What’s crazy is I saw Chris D’Elia at a grocery store in Los Angeles like a year ago. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

It does make it slightly better in the eyes of the law.
Still pretty creepy but at a certain point you aren’t grooming somebody.

I honestly didn't even know who this guy was until about two months ago, never seen any of the shows he's in. I heard the song "Homicide" by Logic and was confused by a weird Eminem knock off at the end, and then found out it was a sample from a Youtube video of D'Elia impersonating Eminem. (The music video for that song is kind of funny, it has Squints from the Sandlot playing Logic and D'Elia as Eminem.)
After that I checked out one of his stand up specials, which was okay. Even with that extremely limited knowledge of the guy, I did get a sense that there was probably something off about him

He’s a road comic, if this is what he does and what he goes after, 30 would probably be just the tip of the iceberg.
The average touring musician would dwarf this motherfricker like an anthill.
If flirty texts equal grooming, I know a girl who was groomed by the guitarist for Bowling for Soup when she was like 16.

No doubt. Which is weird they feel the need to given they can easily find full grown arse women to chase

Wouldn’t surprise me with any of them.
In case anyone was wondering, it’s not cool to text high schoolers when you are a grown arse man

Haven’t really seen anyone calling for his arrest so it doesn’t really matter
Splitting hairs on how old the high schooler was that you were texting is not a battle you’re gonna win

If you’re putting in work before they are 18, then pouncing when they hit 18, that’s pretty much the definition of grooming
I do think some people in this area have gotten a bit out of hand with the grooming accusations, like the people who give Leo or Zach Braff shite for dating 21-23 year olds. But I don’t think Delia falls into that camp at all

Dude is fringe B-list celebrity and his comedy sucks. Glad he is ousted as being a scumbag too, see ya later douche.

I mean when I hear “Grooming” I’m thinking giving the kids candy so you can didnt them later, not waiting till they’re legal.
I mean, yeah it’s creepy. For sure. Possibly not illegal?

Only knew of Delia from the Theo/Rogan, etc clique of new age comics. Always thought he was obnoxious. Will Sasso is absolutely hilarious and blows them all away on podcasts, etc. Unfortunately he doesn’t do stand up.
And that grocery store story is exactly what I would expect from Delia. Throwed off.

Really? It was a pretty common claim made by anti gay marriage people.
Removing Texas' same-sex marriage ban could clear the way for bigamy and pedophilia, according to a brief signed by 63 Republican lawmakers including the GOP candidates for lieutenant governor and attorney general. LINK
Top Trump campaign aide pushed anti-gay positions, said legalizing same-sex marriage would lead to bestiality and pedophilia LINK
Prop. 8 backer stands by views on pedophilia. Under questioning by Boies, Tam also said he agreed with a statement on the Web site for the Chinese-American Christian group that said if same-sex marriage was treated as a civil right, “so would pedophilia, polygamy and incest.” LINK
