Strong possibility it might. I think it massively underperforms. Whether or not it gets labeled a bomb will be a matter of debate.

1. The Disney live action remake bubble burst a few years back, they have massively fallen off in interest, novelty, and box office.

2. It looks absolutely terrible and weird. Bad word of mouth will kill it from whoever actually does see it the first week.

3. The bad PR shitstorm surrounding the movie and Zegler will hurt it somewhat too. General audiences often don't pay attention to noise around movies but there are special exceptions where the bad vibes around a movie do have an impact and this may be one.

Not to mention her Palestine comments and Gal Gadot was a member of the IDF. I doubt those two will hardly be allowed in the same room in the press tour and I’d guess they’re going to arrive at the premiere thirty minutes apart and across the theater from one another.
