Because it’s two absolute comedy improv legends working a clinic . And it took balls to pull a skit consisting of a single question off. I thought it was hilarious. Also, ftr, That thing they were looking at was pretty cool. Do you know what the hell it was?

Never saw that before but you see immediately Martin is playing Navin Johnson and Murray is playing Carl Spackler.
This skit was a year before Caddyshack and the same year as The Jerk.

They should've appeared on screen together more. Scrooged would've been a good one, Steve could've been the role of the ghost of Christmas past or the role Bobcat Goldthwait had in it

That wasn’t very good IMO
After watching it, all I can say is, “what the hell was that?”

That was a good reminder for me to look at the downvotes before clicking a link.

Murray is a beast, Martin's too emphatic (must have been the Robin Williams, Sam Kenison, and Gordon Gottfried times, although it's important to say, Martin was never subtle).

It feels like the audience was laughing to be polite. That was not good.
