It always bothers me when someone shows up at a friend, relative, acquaintance home unannounced. In the day of cell phones, you wouldn’t text or call someone to see if they are even home before you go trough the trouble of driving or taking the subway to get there?
I don’t think I’ve had someone I know knock on my door unexpectedly in 10 years.

Tony's breathing on later episodes of The Sopranos. The weight gain must have increased it. Once noticed, impossible to ignore. Sorry in advance.

Wife and I watched I See You last night.
Helen Hunt’s face bothered the hell out of me

The way grenades blow up in movies always bother me. Anyone that’s had the opportunity to throw a live grenade knows that it’s a shrapnel blast from the sides, and not a giant fricking flaming atom bomb!
I get this. For a standard grenade you're getting concussion blast and shrapnel, not a nuclear explosion.
I do have to gun this one too though. I've been re-watching X-Files and omg, for FBI agents for the first few seasons, they just wave that pistol around, no cares, in each others face, nonchalant.
Also, the chamber, cocking the pistol is annoying to me, but I get the dramatic effect. Also re-watched Lost recently, you keep doing that, all your jackets got ejected on the ground in a trail behind you. Good luck having a round to shoot.

If I don't notice stuff then it doesn't bother me...but one thing that has always bothered me are cars honking when there is a scene with bumper to bumper traffic, this is one of those automatic things no matter the movie or show, if cars are stuck in traffic then every motherfricker is honking...I've never once experienced even one car blowing their horn because they were stuck in traffic.

Since the advent of the internet and cell phones, the idea that miscommunication driving plot forward, which is 80% of plots, is ridiculous.
Characters having a conversation and if one character just said one thing, the entire rest of the plot is different. But they never do, because reasons.
Hate it.

Another thing is the sound guns apparently make when they are pointed at people.
Who knew they made the “click” chambering noise when pointed.
At least that doesn’t affect the plot. The amount of movies that rely on the misconception that a silencer silences a gunshot is infuriating

single person with no backstory of money who might make 100K a year lives in a converted loft in NYC with 50 grand in living room furniture and a kitchen with Russell/Viking/SubZ appliances and Wood-Mode/Grabill/Rutt level cabinets. Their 28/36 would be more like 128/136.
Every single male in movies has an Eames Lounge chair. Which are $9k

It’s also stupid when they take an obviously hot young actress and try to Pretend she’s ugly or so nerdy no one notices she’s drop dead gorgeous

Or driving straight down the road and they move steering wheel from ten to two from ten to two. What are you driving on, a slalom course??!!!!

Okay
I have one.
In “Law Abiding Citizen” when the protagonist orders a T-bone steak in prison and they bring it to him. That would never happen on the cell block in real prison. He might get the steak, but never the bone. Because of exactly what happened with the bone!
Same with pork chops and chicken bones over a certain length.

Overuse of the knife "ching" sound effect. It doesn't matter if it's a sword or a butter knife. I hate that noise.
