Three seasons in, Slow Horses is still tremendous fun. Showrunner Will Smith bases the lean, well-paced seasons on road-tested Herron plots, with a uniformly appealing cast and satisfying mix of mystery, underdog comedy, and cutting dialogue. Shuffling about in a filthy mac with stringy, greasy hair, Oldman's Lamb has become one of the most unique, vivid TV characters in years. You can nearly smell the stench of cigarettes and hangover as Oldman runs endless variations on Lamb’s amused, appalled contempt

I thought the same but Friday is now the release date for Monarch and For All Mankind, which means Thursday at 8 PM is the actual time. Leave it to Apple to mess up the scheduled times it’s original series come out.

I guess For All Mankind got sent to the back of the bus because season 3 of Slow Horses premiered today.

FAM and Monarch are back to their normal nights. Last week was moved because of Thanksgiving.

Even knowing that, I wasn’t aware Slow Horses was coming back so soon. Apple really needs to work on their marketing. They have so many quality shows that nobody knows about.

Ok, I thought it was Wednesday. I can’t keep up with all the streamers. Back in the day we had TV Guide, maybe something is out there now for streaming and I just don’t know about it. I agree with the lack of marketing, Amazon and Applee, two of the biggest should do better. I can’t watch something if I don’t know it exists.

Watched and really enjoyed the first 2 episodes. So far I’m liking it better than season 2 (which was great)

I just started watching this series on Friday and already got through the first season. It's so good and I completely missed it being talked about. Great show

Jackson Lamb is one of those literary characters that is so quirky, unique, and layered that it was almost impossible to translate him from the page to the screen. Gary Oldman has done a fantastic job in his role. He continues to be one of the best actors working today, as he has been for decades.

God, I love this series- books and show. I really hope he continues to have great ideas for furthering the book series, though I have liked his other books out of this series as well, especially when they link up with collateral characters.

Watching season 2 right now and that scene with Oldman eating literally those makes me sick to my stomach. So gross.

These cliffhangers are killer, that last scene in Ep3 was wild.

Been looking forward to the ep dropping tonight hopefully

Just got done with eps 1 & 2. Fantastic start. Oldman is so damn good as Jackson Lamb.

Anyone read the books?

If so, would you recommend them?

Also how close do the first 3 seasons follow the books? Would it be worth reading the first 3 or are they very similar to the show?

Will little & large / scratch & sniff live or stay employed long enough to receive another nickname from Lamb?
