The best part of the movie is when he was telling his story in the beginning, I wish they would make a prequel where he is the narrator from the perspective of him telling another story or the same story but with more detail

This was a great and underrated movie, it is still hard for me to recognize Thornton in there. The real villian is the mother, not the boyfriend, she is the one who goes back.
