It’s a matter of discussion among some.

The plot hinges on the fact that a human made a baby with a replicant.

Did you watch it?

I did not, partially because of the very issue that many felt the movie was suggesting Decker wasn't human. Which would have completely undone the point of the original.

But mainly, I didn't think there needed to be a sequel.

There’s no such thing as toxic masculinity to a heterosexual person.

You should. It’s an amazing movie. It, in no way, implies that Deckard is a replicant. It’s better than the original. And I like the original.

Minus Rutger Hauer’s speech at the end and the cyberpunk look, it isn’t that great of a detective movie.

2049 isn’t “woke” or pushing a modern agenda. The only message it pushes is that your humanity comes from your actions and not your birth.

That's well stated. I just might.

Thanks.

Skeletor rocks and I hope he is masculine as frick in the movie.

How could he be? He's being played by Jared Leto.

I've said before, there is such a thing as toxic masculinity... but it's not what most people think and it sure as hell isn't what Hollywood portrays it to be.

But now I'm confused as to HOW they'll portray Skeletor if that's his point...? He's a buff, skull-faced wizard. What exactly is he going to be doing that embodies "toxic masculinity" as Hollywood sees it?

So basically they are trying to make Skeletor the best character in the movie?
