Agreed with everything except the Wal Mart black Friday commercials. Lizzo is a star!

And everyone knows the worst Christmas commercial is the woman who bought the sunglasses and the guy who bought the GMCs and she picks the one he wanted. Inexcusable.

Peloton is gonna have a hard time advertising in general because their target demo is so narrow.

How many people are in the market for a $2500 exercise bike and a $70 per month subscription service?

It's sort of an asinine product that can't help but to be obnoxious.

It's the Juicero of exercise equipment.

Honestly yall are wrong. Ive seen rich neighborhoods ( houses are 2,3,4 million plus) where the cars are actually worse than the gmcs...in that they are beat up or scratched up.

Me and my girl were perplexed, but some rich people dont put emphasis on cars i guess

It's as if people who make sound financial decisions to become wealthy don't get rid of fully functioning items merely to replace them with new, highly depreciable ones.

Your point maybe valid but the guy just dropped $80-100K on two new vehicles. Kind of opposite of what you are saying.

Basically any Progressive commercial with FLO. The most recent one that comes to mind is that stupid Progressive theme park dream they all have in the parking lot.

They are better now especially with the addition of Jaime.

#1 is easily the Peloton ad
I don't get the hate for that one at all.

Limu Emu is by far the worst.

One woman's quest to go from 115 pounds to 110 pounds.

Gripping stuff.

Not really, some seemed to be suggesting that GMC's were not worthy of rich people, they should be riding 200k mercedes or something.

The ad, which shows a woman's yearlong fitness journey after her husband gives her one of its costly stationary bikes, was widely criticized on social media this week, including by some who said it sent a sexist message. The blowback was so fierce the company's stock price dropped by as much as 10%, Bloomberg reported.

That fall erased $942 million from Peloton's market value. It was also the biggest single-day drop for the company since October.

that is one awful ad.

Also a solid response to guy who always responds to a bad ad with "well it got you talking about it so it worked!"

also don't find the ad sexist like most of the twitter mob...it just sucks

My current most hated is that ghetto-tastic Boost Mobile ad with Pitbull, and 3 dozen people dancing in some barrio alley.

We get it. You have a demographic.

Came here to post this one. 100% spot on.

It also pisses me off that all these people are working their arse off trying to do a choreographed dance and Pitbull is just standing there holding up some hand signal like Carmelo Anthony when he makes a 3 pointer

Yes the ad absolutely sucks but the people who are claiming it's sexist are lunatics.

They have completely invented a fake backstory to get outraged about. This husband obviously thought his wife was fat and bought her the machine against her will and is forcing her to lose weight to please him.

That's totally the intended message for the ad of course!

Something tells me most of the people making those complaints are all blue haired 300-pound lesbian monsters.

If she started as a fatty or even with just baby weight I could see that but with a woman that looks like she runs marathons already

Exactly. She's a ridiculously gorgeous 115 pound chick. She's "so scared" to get on a fricking exercise bike and is just brought to tears by her journey to get in shape, which she was already in marathon runner shape.

It is a horrendous ad.

I hate the GMC commercial where the wife gives the husband some shitty $200 sunglasses. He gets her an SUV and she has the nerve to claim his brand new truck. Then he totally cucks out.

I hate this commercial with a passion. I have to change the channel every single time it comes on. And.... it was on last year. WTF???

I’ve always thought it was stupid to show people who are in exceptionally good shape in fitness equipment ads unless you show their journey.

The best fitness/athletic brand ad I ever saw was for Nike back during the 2012 Olympics. Showed a big old boy out for a jog, busting his arse sweating up a storm and it just showed that classic Nike logo and Just Do It.

I saw that ad 3 times 7 years ago and it still sticks with me as a great but of positive advertising. Compare that with how shitty their advertising is now.

Personally I’m very sick of the target ones with that song where the woman is just wailing in the background.
