Didn’t watch E2 yet but will try to watch it tonight or tomorrow night. I thought E1 was kind of meh and not that funny.

Dick's public speaking protocol was sort of like a dance, the steps being:

1. Stand stiffly about to shite your pants.
2. Hunker down because it's a better position for (1).
3. Throw up because why not?
4. Stand up, turn around, and crash through a plate glass window.

It's practically the Macarena.

I thought Jared's Al Gore spiel was hilarious.

In fact, I thought last night's episode was quite solid. I am not sure I am watching the same show as you all.

This show is now a rudderless ship... I watched last night's episode and got up to do laundry 10 minutes in... fricking laundry....

Ehrlich is Massively missed and the story is just spinning circles now... Nothing is happening, nothing.

Ehrlich brought a "normal dude" perspective the show desperately needed and called Richard out for his stuff.

I agree with poster above... The movies HBO plays now absolutely suck... And the good shows all take 2 yr breaks.

Plus...fricking stop with reruns of Maher... We don't need to see his show 16 times in a week.

There really is no reason to have HBO right now... Only during GoT is it good anymore.

I think it sucked too, but because I'm just tired of the same shite. Let the guys have some prolonged success and build a conflict from that.

If that's the show you want, then you need to go watch Entourage

I thought the first 2 eps this season were really strong, especially considering they had to deal with Elrich's (aka Errrrich ) absence

I’m about at a breaking point with this group continuing to get shite on in the show. Can they have some sustained success for once? Doesn’t even have to be a full season but let them win for at least 5-6 episodes straight.

And sadly GoT S8 is going to start and end over a 6 week period in the next 12-14 months. Prequel series won’t be out until 2020 at the earliest.

I don’t like the long hiatuses of HBO shows either and their programming is going downhill...kind of like how AMC went to crap after Breaking Bad and Mad Men ended.

IMO Silicon Valley won’t be able to go on much longer. I say 1 more season tops.

Why can’t they get to the next level and then still have all the trials and tribulations at reaching the next level. Show is about a city full of billionaires. At a certain point it’s dumb out Central characters have to worry about where they’re going to sleep after so many years

It really is getting tiresome.

Let them succeed. They can still write plenty of situations in that scenario.

Personally, I would like to see Gilfoyle and Dinesh once they're successful. I could see Dinesh buying some ridiculously lavish shite but Gilfoyle constantly taking the joy out of it for him.

They kind of previewed it but it still had the "bad decision" stink on it of Dinesh not actually being able to afford the car.

It also didn't make sense for Dinesh to worry about $17,000....he doesn't carry insurance?

Agreed. Its almost as though some people just want to see TJ Miller make an arse of himself.

Whiney little frickers that have their minds made up, watch something, to come back and say I told you so.

shite is still classic, subtle funny jokes abound, just missing Ehrlich getting high and saying profound shite.

I had read the first page before watching either of the episodes, and was nervous it was going to suck, same funny show it has always been though.

eventually you want your characters to face new challenges...just like people do in real life. they conquer one and move onto the next.

there is no top of the mountain. but it gets boring watching them climb 5 feet and then fall back to the ground.

Yeah, it’s pretty irritating that we are in season 5 and hiring coders is still a major plot point.
