TJ Miller giving up Silicon Valley because he got the lead in “The Emoji Movie” might be the most Erlich Bachman act of all time. The guy may be a giant douche, but he was impeccably well cast.

Great character. Dumb actor. We’ll see how things work out. They left it open for him to come back

Considering he is a career bridge burner, I fricking doubt it. He’ll be handing out handjobs on Hollywood Boulevard in 5 years.

His character kind of ran his course too so its not a huge loss. That actor really is an idiot though. His stand up isnt even that good.

His standup might have been the worst thing I’ve ever seen on TV. Very awkward.

A black site would be better, at least we'd be protected by the Geneva Convention

I read an article that said the actor was a huge disruption on set. Often late, so metimes just didn’t show, rude to others, etc. Probably not someone welcome to return.

Pretty good first episode. I liked jin yangs small story line.

I love this show, but the absence of TJ Miller is massive, especially from a comedic standpoint. In past he was good for multiple laugh aloud moments, and tonight there were none.

Jian Yang also suffers as a character because he is now being used too much and he has no one to play off of. I still enjoyed tonight's episode, but it's almost like losing Cosmo Kramer in Seinfeld, she show can go on, but it's just feels unwhole.

I'm growing tired of Richard's bumbling.

The writers are basically going to make Richard fail again, but they just tease you enough to stay tuned to see how he does it this time. So lame

He actually thought that the emoji movie would take his career off

So they are trying to make Richard more like Gavin at times. It was a decent episode but not that funny overall. Something deff missing.
