Just caught up at lunch, so glad the guys got some positive news for a change.
And I fully realize that's how his character is supposed to act, but I really hated the CEO. I'm extremely happy he's gone.
And for some reason I still cant' stand big head. AGain, I know that's his character and he plays that character like he's supposed to, I just don't like him.

In Texas.
all other tables online wee being sold for $1000+
there was one in New Braunfels for $800. A 6 foot long table that I could use in many different ways.
I could get the table to Houston and easily sell for $1000+ if I had a hard time finding the rig space for it. more people would be interested able to spend the cash.

Part of the themes of the show is how fricked up Silicone Valley actually is. People fail up constantly, etc.
Gavin gets fired from Hooli, his own company. Some convoluted thing where he sells off his shares for a record price.
Becomes CEO of PP.
Its probably not going to be the case but it does make sense within the universe of this show.
I can't think of anyone ON the show that makes sense...maybe Monica.
Otherwise it will be an outsider.

Well the middle out company were the guys he had just fired.
End frame didn't have a model as good as pied pipers, after the nucleus guys were fired though, and ended up figuring out middle out, they were hired by end frame.
As someone else mentioned, he paid 250 million to get the guys he had just fired.
If that comes out, which it seems pretty likely, that's pretty good reason to oust him.

Monica for sure, maybe Lori.
She's got the awkward personality, seems to be a squared away CEO tho, doing what it takes to turn profit.

ummmm buying a company that had employed the very people they had fired just recently. Buying the company with probably very little due diligence?
he also lost the IP court battle relating to PP.
Hooli has had some legitimate issues as well. easy to foresee a scenario where he gets kicked out.

Have you ever worked in a private enterprise? Particularly one where the stakes are very high?
I'm being totally serious here; I know nothing of your background or private sector experience.
If he didn't have his personal gravitas and name brand, he would have been fired yesterday. Nucleus alone should have buried his arse.
I have worked with not a few companies just like that. A sane board would have ousted some hooligan like that a long time ago. The idiosyncrasies and weirdness of the tech industry and SV in particular compared to the rest of American industry are what make this such a poignant and hilarious show.
