Should I watch Taken and Taken 2 before watching Taken 3?

You should watch Taken.

You should not watch Taken 2 or 3

Watch 1.

Forget 2 and 3 exist.

Or do the really smart thing and watch John Wick.

I enjoyed Taken more than John Wick. Taken leaned more towards thriller and John Wick has more action if I had to put my finger on the difference.

Both are full of action though.

Watch Taken. It's awesome. Never ever ever watch Taken 2.

As many have said, just don't watch 3. It's terrible. My dad, who is a sucker for anything action, admitted that even he thought it was a cash grab.

Nah. They aren't really tied together.

Taken 3 was actually good btw. Avoid taken 2 though
