Actually, I think I do. I said before in a different Severance S2 thread that a RT score like that makes me nervous.

RT is a bunch of shills now and I just hope they got this right for once and not blowing smoke.

They get it right all of the time. We already know how good of a show this is.

This is my bad.

True, but we also knew how good of a show GOT was, or original Dexter, etc.

Btw, did you check out the Best Buy Apple TV+ I posted earlier in the thread?

Also, I have another "hack" that is pretty simple that most people don't know - if you have @gmail.com email address, gmail ignores "." in the address. In other words fun.bunch@ will get the same emails as funbunch@ or fu.nbunch@

It's an easy way to use deals like the above one for Apple TV+ by using a "different" address for the service, but for you, it all goes to the same email address.

I have tried to get into this show on two different occasions and it just doesn’t click with me. I want to like it, but can’t seem to. I usually like most anything, so it’s odd that everyone loves this but I couldn’t care less about it.

You really have to be able to get in touch with the you you are to get it. It’s ok.

And always remember, what separates man from machine is that machines can’t think for themselves. Also they are made of metal, whereas man is made of skin.

It’s hard to admit a self own but I applaud you taking such a historic L.

Did you finish the season? If you didn’t how can you know if something “clicks” if you haven’t seen the entire arc? Weird

I just finished the first season & I thought it was incredible. It's right up my alley: weird dreadful atmosphere, psychological horror, dystopian vibes, luminal spaces. I haven't gone through the previous threads, but I hope everyone is giving John Turturro the credit he deserves. I thought he was fantastic.

Season 1 was basically a season of existential crisis for me. Loved it. Just imagining yourself stuck in an underground office where all you do is work 100% of the time. Pure existential dread. So many good scenes in the show.

The scene that got me the most was when Dylan saw his son. Damn near had me crying as a father, and I'm not a crying person.

Honorable mention for the waffle party scene coming out of left field. What makes it even better is if you assume those sex workers are also severed individuals who have no idea they are waffle party sex slaves as innies.

Can't wait for season 2.

Why didn't an innie write down crap going on and stuck it in pocket? They weren't searching them.

I turned this show off during the 1st ep so many times. Hated it. Cursed it. I finally finished the 1st ep, & turned it off during the 2nd a few times. Pissed me off. Even threw my tv out.

A few months later, with my brand new 4k tv, I made myself commit. Glad I did, by the 3rd-4th ep I was hooked. It's the most original, thought provoking, surreal, unique shows you'll ever watch.

I enjoy good writing & dialogue. This show has the best. Give it another shot, stick with, and pay attention.
