Watched La La Land last. 3 things:

1. I am watching it again this weekend.
2. I am learning how to play that song that's played throughout the movie (City of Stars).
3. Favorite movie I've seen in a while.

Just saw it tonight. GREAT movie. Usually not into "rom-coms", but this was a very well done film all around. My wife loved it but hated the end. I liked the end, just enough of a tug on the heart strings.

Yea man, just seems like it's been a while since I've seen a movie where I thought "holy shite that movie was fantastic" when the lights came on.

Just got out of the movie, and....wow.

I knew within 30 minutes that I was watching a movie that will be one of my favorites for a very, very long time.

Will definitely be seeing it again this weekend.

Just got out.

Best of the year for me.

The ending is incredible.

You never know where life takes you.

10/10.

It will crush at the Oscars.

Look at my post earlier in here said something like "I'm 30min in and this is the best movie of the year"

I was absolutely paralyzed during that opening sequence

About once every 3 weeks or so I'll look up the latest showing of a movie I haven't seen yet and go sit in the top row of an empty theatre. I usually just relax and text and bit and read shite and watch the movie. After the first scene I didn't touch my phone one time

I'm shocked how much I loved this film.

I wanna see it again and I never see movies twice.

I'm glad it ended the way it did.

It would of been a cop out had it ended the other way.

So good.

People are going to turn on this movie with the quickness. Once it wins all of the awards and "normal people" go see this, it'll come.

It always does.

True. It's a guarantee the "it's just Hollywood loving itself" crowd is coming. Although I'm sure some have already arrived

That type of reaction was already on a thread on this board.

It'll go nuclear after the Oscars.
