Went and saw this at perkins rowe earlier, maybe 10 people in the theater including me and the 2 women I was with. I gotta say I haven't laughed that hard in a long time, would give it a 90%.

It makes fun of EVERYONE. Blacks, whites, guidos, rednecks, Mexicans, Germans, Jews, gays, straights, etc

This is I think why I liked it, they didn't leave anyone out in who was made fun of. Making fun of the fruits to the grocery orgy to the human I'm 26 and would recommend to anyone around my age

Laughed my arse off at times. Rolled my eyes at other times. Overall, I enjoyed it. Gotta go into it expecting a raunchy, over-the-top Seth Rogen indulgence.

I'm 27 fwiw and could see how this wouldn't be as entertaining for the 30+ crowd, but would be a total riot for a group of college bros.

I'm 22 and I'd say everyone in the theater I saw it in was in their 20's or lower 30's.

That was the wildest movie I've seen in a while. Loved every bit of it.

I thought it was fricking hilarious. The cursing wasn't even that bad. If anything they had too many corny food puns, but I like that. Would see again.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. Exterminate the juice had me rolling, but other times I was slouched over waiting rather than watching.

The orgy caught me by surprise and was just a bit too much for my liking.

A solid movie that I wouldn't go see with anyone again.

It was good, but not as funny as I had hoped. Wish they spent more time out of the grocery store.

I just don't think this movie can hold a candle to Team America World Police. As ridiculous as the orgy scene was, Team America actually did IT before they did, but honestly Gary giving Spotswood head as his great moment of redemption is one of the funniest scenes of all time. I may be biased because I showed my dad Team America and he walked out during that scene calling it the gayest movie ever made. Honestly started crying laughing during that scene with the combination of that and my dad's disgust.

It sounds like from these reviews that the movie went pretty much like the trailer. Brilliant, uniquely hilarious concept treated too vulgarly for many people to fully buy in. Just from the trailer you could see that it would probably end up that way, IMO. Still undecided about seeing it myself.

It was ok. Not hilarious to me. Except for Meatloaf. I lol'd at that.

accurate description I would say. Change the juicebox rape scene and and remove the 50 uses of the word cum in one 2 minute scene and it probably is a legit mainstream movie, even with the orgy scene left intact.

The fricking anal beads had me almost rolling on the floor.

I agree with you. There were parts that are really funny, but overall I thought it was kinda dumb.

Granted this movie wasn't very funny to me, I thought Seth and company did a pretty good job of pissing off every demographic known to man in this movie. While almost all of Seth and company's movies are hilarious, this one definitely didn't do it for me. Go ahead and downvote me and call me morons all you want for disliking it gentlemen. Doesn't bother me.

I agree. I had high expectations and was let down. It felt a little too anti-religion preachy to me which took away from the humor. And this is coming from somebody who typically loves the Seth, Jonah, and company movies.

I liked it, but not as much as I hoped - I was really looking forward to this one. The whole general plot wasn't what I expected. However, the funny parts - and there were many - were hilarious. I kinda wish I hadn't seen the trailers because they covered most of the funniest parts. The orgy scene, though, is one of the funniest comedic scenes of all time. Easily top 5. The only movie I can compare it to is Team America, which was a better movie all around. Don't get me wrong - I really enjoyed it, I just built it up in my expectations a bit too much going in.

No. I don't think that anyone will be quoting Sausage Party forty years from now.

The food appearing as the corresponding ethnic groups and nationalities was done in the cartoons of the 30's and 40's. Even the juice/Jews thing had been done to death prior to this (American Dad did it a decade ago).

The only thing new was the religious plot and the adult humor.

I challenge you to find another 90 minute movie with that many curse words. They went way over the top in that regard and I'm no choir boy. The excess cursing and vulgarity made the movie less of what it could have been, even though I did laugh my freakin arse off at times.

Was going to bring my 15-year-old brother and very glad I didn't.

Movie did not live up to my expectations.
