Blazing Saddles it is not.

Not even close. It is laughable to put the two in the same sentence really.

Did you really demand your money back because you didn't like a movie?

What a silly and petty thing to do. Nothing wrong with not liking it, but give me a break. Write off the $8.50 and try again with another movie another time.

Saw it over the weekend. It was funny at times, boring at times, and REALLY funny at times. But that being said, it wasn't overly good, if that makes sense.

I enjoyed it, but it definitely tried too hard to be vulgar in some places. I don't know if that took away from it per se, but it definitely felt really forced a good bit as opposed to being naturally funny. I did love that they threw in literally as many food puns as they could though...those were funny, even if obvious most of the time.

I agree with whoever it was that said they were glad they saw it but they don't really need to see it again. That's pretty much where I am, although I may watch it later down the road to catch some of the things that I may have missed.

Comparing it to Blazing Saddles is nothing more than a pure insult to that comedy classic though...whoever said that should be slapped immediately.

All in all, I'd give it about a 6.5/7-ish out of 10.

I basically feel like if you liked This is the End, then you'll prolly like Sausage Party, as it's a lot of the same people and the jokes/vulgarity are fairly on par with each other (although SP is more "tryhard" with it).

I remember my Dad doing that for King Ralph and Toys as a kid. I have never done it. If a movie sucks, oh well.

Yeah, agree that's pretty weird (and dickish). It was your choice to see the movie, not the theater's fault that you aren't responsible enough to accurately choose which films to see (assuming you see ones you think you will enjoy). And of course the theater gives the refund because they have to keep customers happy. But that's a bullshite thing to do.

I could see if something was malfunctioning (like the screen was fricked up, for example) or if there was some sort of massive disturbance that ruined your experience (like people talking or fighting, for example). But solely because you didn't like it? That's bush league.

but what you have to understand cokes is the theater he went to actually made the movie. so they're definitely responsible for its quality.

bullshite. If you walk out of a movie early or halfway through there's no shame in asking for a refund. Just tell the manager that the movie wasn't up to par or wasn't what you assumed that it was. You'll probably get a rain check instead of a refund.

We just walk out and see what else is playing if a movie is unwatchable from the start.

There should be shame in it. It was your decision to go see (and subsequently pay for) a shitty movie. The theater had nothing to do with you choosing to see that particular one.

Why should the theater have to foot the bill for your shitty decision making? And a raincheck is the same thing as a refund basically. They are still paying for your poor decision.

This forum is packed with people who have thoroughly researched films and were shocked at how much they hated the movie. What chance does the casual movie goer have?

I'm not saying that everyone should ask for a refund, but if you need to leave in the first half ask for a refund or a rain check.

If something happens and you have to leave, then I could maybe get on board. But if you just flat out don't like the movie, asking for a refund is bush league IMO.

But I do think it's significantly worse to watch the whole thing and then want a refund. That's like eating your entire dinner and then complaining to the waiter or a manager that it wasn't any good and demanding not to pay for it. It's a shitty thing that shitty people do.

It isn't the movie theaters fault you chose a shitty movie to watch.

If something happens during a movie and you still argue for a refund, it isn't enough of emergency to leave the movie.

Just saw it.

It was definitely a strange arse movie with a decent amount of laughs in it.

The bad guy was such a douche though. I couldn't take him seriously.
