Dammit both of these episodes are phenomenal. The turn at the very end of both episodes gets me teary eyed just thinking about it. So which do you think is more sad?

Jurassic Bark is a way more sadder ending for sure. Anyone that has ever had a dog they loved will definitely feel a giant lump in their throat. But something about the bittersweet ending of Luck of the Fryish just gets to me.

Jurassic Bark is sad as frick. The Luck of the Fryish really only gets a bit emotional at the end. Up to that point, Fry was angry the whole time. Jurassic Bark was absolutely devastating as you watch Seymour wait for Fry.

Jurassic Bark

One of the most moving ones is Game of Tones though.

Fry gets to speak to his mom again in her dreams.

Great episode.

Just reading "Jurassic Bark" made my heart sink and I instantly started thinking about my own dogs

I haven't watched that episode in years, but it's emotionally burned into my brain. Amazing when an episode can still affect you years down the line.

Was just about to come post this.

Cried like a baby at the end of that episode

ETA: The Late Phillip J. Fry is another episode that is a tear jerker.

Jurassic bark for sure, but in a later episode they did give Seymour a much happier life undoing the ending

Luck of the Fryrish was sweet and happy. The ending of Jurassic Bark is brutal. I love the episode because of the depth and the range of emotion, but the end with Seymour waiting outside the pizza restaurant is more than I can take sometimes.

Jurassic Bark is needlessly sad.

Fry couldn’t just have a dog? They could just leave the dog in the past? Like why show the dog never forgetting Fry?

Love the show because of the thought they put into episodes like Jurassic Bark. I can have Futurama on in the background for hours.

THE answer is Game of Tones. Specifically, The Ending.

If taken suddenly 1,000 years into the future, Id do anything for a chance to do this."

Jurassic Bark is definitely sadder but The Luck of the Fryish is a better episode.
