What? I love the first games, but the story is literally Kratos is tricked and goes on a revenge tour. Then it’s all hack and slash from there.

It’s simple, direct and personal.

He'll need to work out. He looked a bit soft in The Abandons.
Yeah, I think Wes Chatham(Amos:The Expanse) would kill as Kratos.

Idris Elba was born for this role.

Absolutely. The original trilogy is basically the Star Wars/LOTR of that era of gaming. The newer games are just… not it. Changing to a Norse setting was fine. Would have personally rather seen him in an Egyptian setting but whatever. However, doing that open world RPG crap just took the soul out of it for me. I played the first new one for about 5-6 hours and it just all felt out of sorts. Felt like they wrote Kratos a great story and then dumped in to an Assassin’s Creed game.
Oh well, hopefully the series is great.
I disagree. Both of the newer games were outstanding. I had a blast playing both and the story in both was top notch. I much preferred the new God of War games to the older ones.

The first of the new ones was one of the better games I’ve played in a decade.
First of the new games is probably one of my favorite games ever. I really enjoyed the original GoW games, but I'm really into open world RPG type games, so I was a huge of the first new game.

It won’t even come close to being as good as the video game

Hurst voiced Thor in the Nordic series. Didn’t realize he is 6 foot 6.
Thor was a fat fricker in the nordic series, and I love it

was hoping we'd get the adaptation of the first 3 games too but not sure we will. maybe some flashbacks but so many iconic moments in the original trilogy
Never played the original trilogy but i will definitely be playing the remakes when they are finished.
Did enjoy the 2 new games a lot but obviously they are very different.
