What I don't get is how the shareholders/boards aren't up in arms about this. Even if they buy into the woke bullshite, you have to assume they still like money and want to make some of it (rather than lose it). Yet they put the people making these awful decisions into place and are seemingly fine with the decisions that are being made. Like at some point reason and rationality says that they'd want to maximize profits, and at this point they have to know that that's not going to happen when they pull shite like this. Yet they still choose to do it over and over. It makes no sense.

Not really, no.
If they wanted a female herald, they should have just gone with Nova. Maybe swap her origin story with Norrin Radd's (Silver Surfer) if you REALLY wanted a female herald first.
I always liked her character design - I enjoy it when artists can run with the more alien appearances.

yes, of course. Part of the entire purpose is the destruction of things that herald back to the era of personal responsibility, kids being kids, and the nuclear family at the center of a functioning society.

i think that maybe we are agreeing philosophically, but i'm unclear on what you are saying. i agree that the entire purpose is the destruction of the traditional nuclear family, but my point is that the elites wont allow Disney to fail because Disney is their propaganda machine that enforces that worldview.

To a point, you're correct, but Disney rose to prominence on the backs of the nuclear family. At some point it will be allowed to fail for that reason.
