Still don't see the point in rushing the ending. Just finish out the season.

Maybe I'm just looking back with 2020 eyes.

DVD sales.

If you are able to land it somewhat, you (at that time) could have a good little DVD bonus coming thru because people liked the show.

People aren’t going to buy hard copies of a show that just ends without a real ending

I read that they originally had 4 seasons written out, and found out midway through season 2 it would be cancelled. So they condensed and shoved what they could into the rest of the season.
Does this end up detracting from the watch?

Yes. It really detracts from it a lot. First season was really really good and it totally falls off the rails in season 2. Sucks because I think it could have been great. I think production costs were too high and this was before HBO was willing to deal with that.

Maybe they'll come back with a 2 hour dogshit movie with elderly people like Deadwood

Honestly that is exactly why it usually takes me a couple weeks to turn on a new show with good reviews or to start a new season of a show I love

I KNOW I’m gonna get hooked and end up burning thru 8 episodes and burning my brain out

Lucius Vorenus. Deep 13th him. He'd follow the standard up Pluto's a-hole.
