Honestly, American Psycho is hilarious. But I understand that a lot of the humor in it would go over many people's heads.

Absent are about 20 great movies. Meet the Parents not on the list is a travesty.

Elf?
Hangover?
Ted?

Notable ones that didn’t make the list:

MacGruber
Tucker and Dale Vs Evil
Old School
21 and 22 Jump Street
Zoolander
Dodgeball

Then list is shite

The editor in chief and founder of Rolling Stone was on Rogan a couple weeks back

After listening to him, I don’t take anything Rolling Stones says seriously. Dude is a major snowflake and the people that made this list are probably a bunch of she/they/them/hers. They have an agenda with everything they do.

Lots of male chauvinistic crude comedies are missing and Bridesmaids number 3. All I needed to see

I’m shocked Team America made the list. Because that has got to make them about burst a blood vessel in rage. Hot Fuzz, Team America, and Superbad being #s 33, 32, and 31 respectively is ridiculous since it’s almost an objective fact that those are Top 10 comedies of the 21st century.

frick Rolling Stone these days

after hearing the founder on Rogan the other day, i completely get why they do such a terrible job.

i really like bridesmaids. it's a hilarious movie. it's not in the top 20 of the last 10 years, nonetheless top 3 the last 20.

best in show is hilarious though.

Honestly, with these two, they get less and less funny each time you watch them. Once you’ve seen it, you’ve seen it. Hilarious first watch, but it quickly wears out it’s welcome.

Hope people aren't giving RS what they want and clicking to those click-bait articles. There was a time when Rolling Stone was just a magazine and tweaking their "rankings" to look cool and controversial. Now, they blatantly create lists that are built to be shared as "look at this shite" links.

it has humorous parts but it's not a comedy. I mean dumb and dumber has some drama and actually has a pretty cool plot at the heart of it but nobody would call it an action drama.

I mean, I can't think of 70 comedies better than any of these, much less of the last 20 years.

quote:

MacGruber
Tucker and Dale Vs Evil
Old School
21 and 22 Jump Street
Zoolander
Dodgeball

Yeah, it seems like they're really trying to make some of these dark comedies

American Psycho is 100% a comedy

Bridesmaids is good but way too high.

It's going to be overrated b/c that's probably the #1 chick comedy of this timeframe. That or Mean Girls, and Bridesmaids is decisively better/funnier.

American Psycho is a full-blown dark comedy. It's not a subtle one, at that.

Patrick Bateman is a hilarious caricature. Nothing about him or his bullshite is meant to be taken seriously.

Nah, because they’re not self aware enough to know they’re the butt of the joke. They think this is ridiculing anyone who would vote for Trump. It’s like actual racists who love Blazing Saddles but don’t realize they’re the ones Mel Brooks is actually ripping into.

Bridesmaids should never be ahead of The Hangover on any list. It was basically the female response to The Hangover.

Man, that would make Mike Judge quite the Nostradamus. Working on Idiocracy throughout the early 2000's and releasing it in 2006, nine years before Trump announced his candidacy.
