Roadhouse was terrible!!!

I watched it last night and I wasted 2 hours that I'll never get back.
I like Jake J in Southpaw so I thought this would be good, but it was not.
I hate to say this because it will make me sound old, but the first version was so much better.

The first one was watchable, but not a real good movie. I can't believe the folks in Hollywood can't come up with fresh ideas for movies instead of recycling so-so movies from the past.

Well, that clip really didn't change my mind. The fat guy launched himself after getting the fake kick in the back and the delay was obvious.

I boy watched one or two scenes of the first one. Not my cup of tea.

I laughed through the new movie. I didn’t want to like it but I did. I thought it was fun.

I watched the new one... yes, it was terrible. But I watched every minute of it and still enjoyed it for what it is. A terrible action flick with terrible acting and horrible dialogue with not one ounce of believability (except for the Crocs hide their food mantra).
But I still enjoyed it.

Hardly. Just out of curiosity I looked up Most Quotable Movies and one site had their top 50 and another had 130 listed.

It really isn't.
It's insulting and the cardinal sin, uninteresting.
It fails at campy fun which is difficult to do. Nothing sucks you in, only turns you off...bad casting, bad acting, boring cookie-cutter story, ridiculous comic book fight scenes...a nothing of a story. Movie completely fails at "its so bad, its good". Its just bad bad. Uninteresting, boring bad.

This movie sucked. The timline and plot was all over the place. The Conner character felt like a Chappell skit

It really is a bad movie. How in the F did they ever get Ben Gazzara to agree to this movie? And then, in what world would a “rich guy” like Gazzara’s character be interested in the comings and goings of a shitty country bar?

I wish I would have seen this before I wasted time on it last night. Today as I thought about it, the only thing I can come up with is I am glad Swayze is dead because this would have made him cry.
