LEFT SIDE...STRONG SIDE still gives me goosebumps that and Yoast’s speech when he decides to throw away the HOF. What a baby back bitch Petey was though...

Loved this movie when I was a kid, hasn’t aged well but it still has some pretty good moments.

Almost too much. How did he even make it through camp?

Besides all the cheese Bertier's wreck was made for TV movie quality. Seems like Disney could afford to T-bone the entire side of the car and not just dent the back door.

My high school played them that year. It wasn’t portrayed in the movie but a lot of other schools from our district were. They even used the correct and time period appropriate logos and colors for the schools if anyone cares about little details like that.

My favorite scene...when Ronnie Bass shows them he is a badass white boy.

Haven't you wimps ever seen a football injury before???

YOU MAKE SURE THEY REMEMBER FOREVA, THE NIGHT DEY PLAYED DA TITANS.

Never understood why Patton's speech changed so much during that line.

read a while back TC had been integrated for years, that season was just the first where TC Williams had combined with a few other schools. They basically had a huge #s advantage and beat the shite out of everyone

I remember reading about that as well.

These districts were already football powerhouses so when they integrated they basically created an "all-star" team of sorts.

And Denzel's character in real life turned out to be a piece of shite.

yeah he's basically pretended the movie version was real and turned it into a profitable speaking engagement gig

God I love this movie. Really nails the locker room shenanigans atmosphere & god damned bootcamp style summer practices

This

I'm a sucker for movies based on a true story. This movie has got super cheesy. It's borderline a sports/musical.

Yeah, I find myself liking it less and less as the years pass on by.
