I just saw this for the very first time. Where the hell have I been? It was great. Reminded me a lot of the movie Toy Soldiers. Wolverines!

My dad had the movie in VHS cabinet back in the day. I have seen about 20 times. I watched it a few months ago for the first time in a long time. It still holds up.

Was the pilot Powers Boothe? God has he aged. I only knew of this movie from the I Love the 80s specials. Finally got around to watching it.

I thought this thread was gonna be about the new one. The are releasing a remake later this year starring Chris Hemsworth but in the remake I think it's North Korea rather than Russia that invades.
