Was anyone else put off by how blasé Reacher was about murdering people this season? I understand the revenge angle, but he had a similar vengeance motive in season 1 and didn't come off as such a psychopath. He must have killed like 30 people this season, a lot of them straight up murder rather than a fight or shootout. Topped off in the finale by killing a helpless captive because he couldn't fine rope to tie him up. Was that supposed to be funny?

He’s not, he’s a woke retard who can’t act. I’ve watched all three seasons of Reacher. The first season was good, second awful, and the third was ok but if I’m honest I lost interest about halfway through. Agree with the comments about Reacher straight up murdering people. He’s just some guy out there killing people, he’s not acting in any official capacity and it’s not self defense. How is that not murder? There’s a faction of viewers who think that’s “so cool” but I think it’s stupid and the show is getting weaker with each season. That said I thought the lady cop did a great job with her character.

Nice, long foght w paulie.
I seem to be the only poster who did not care for the long, unrealistic fight.

The fight in the book was better. Reacher knew that Paulie had no stamina, so he just let Paulie wear himself out.

But then in the same scene found something to choke Paulie with?

I have never really cared if actors get a regional accent perfect.

Who cares if they get that diphthong just exactly right, as long as we can tell generally where the character is supposed to come from?

The Texas accent has a half dozen regional variants. If a film is set in New York, and there is ONE Texas character from West Texas, who CARES if the character occasionally pronounces a vowel as if he were from Tyler?

I went to college in Boston and I think her accent was really good. I've certainly heard much worse.

Epoxy? Yeah, agreed. It's a piece of plastic, or even relatively light pot metal (zamak)... the epoxy either holds, or it doesn't. It's not going to melt like wax in an oven. I've used JB Weld on things, and it holds great.

Beck has been a gun runner for some time. Has a nice collection of loaded weapons in his office. Why the frick does he not have weapons elsewhere in the house?
Another thing about that- he has a bunch of guns in display cases behind glass. Most people who display like that, don't load the magazines; and you can't tell if they are loaded just by looking at most of them.

People are in the house trying to kill you, you have access to your own gun. Why frick around and check if the Uzi or Stormgewehr is loaded, when somebody might come shoot you? Just keep your own gun.

Semi-related to that:
my son and I commented on Reacher's choice. You have the option of an AR 15 (presumably full auto), with a 30 rd mag; or a 12 gauge without a stock, with maybe 8 in the tube. Looks cool, and if there was a stock (proper aim), it's fairly close. But as configured, I'd go with the AR 20 times out of 20.

He felt around in the box and there were no cartridges (which makes no sense since there were shells with the Shockwaves). But, at least that explains his selection.

Plus he didnt have time to load mags when he could pocket a bunch of shells and go.

While we are talking about disbelief, when does Reacher work out?

Ok, I can go with that

As a Shockwave owner, I can tell you those were not Shockwaves. They had pistol grips, not the bird's head grips. Minor technicality; and it looked like they had 18" barrels. They were simply riot guns with pistol grips.

Her trying too hard and her accent were the low points in the season for me. S3 was still better than S2, but I wish they cast someone else for that role.

I appreciated the subtle jab at DEI when Reacher was talking to Kohl. He said something like, “I don’t want people to assume you were hired because you’re a woman or to fulfill a certain quota. I want people to know you were hired because you earned it.”

just finished this yesterday. I enjoyed it a good bit. not as much as one, more than 2 by a mile.

the accent was annoying, but i thought about it after a while, and i noticed that i really don't know any women from Boston to know if there voice is that annoying.
