I’m kinda surprised when push cane to shove I put Rogue One so high.

They literally killed everyone and couldn’t make me care except for the god damned robot.

I just started watching Clone Wars(animated series and film) in chronological order and I'm really enjoying it so far.

Yes, it is awesome!

I think the series is better than the prequels and TLJ...but I find it difficult to list the series in a list of films.

I felt it was because no character was bigger than the cause. It was their selfless sacrifice that gave the rebellion the hope they needed. Plus Vader was in it and got to choke some one.

Exactly! We knew that most of the cast was going to die before we watched the film. A handful had great start arcs, and a few were more subtle or static. The overall film was fantastic, though!

Empire and Star Wars are damned close - too close to call most days, so 1a and 1b situation clearly applies here, leaving Return of the Jedi 3rd.

I arrange them into five groupings of quality then separate them within each group. The Empire Strikes Back and The Last Jedi each stand alone.

The Empire Strikes Back

A New Hope
Return Of The Jedi

Rogue One
The Force Awakens

Solo
Attack Of The Clones
Revenge Of The Sith
The Phantom Menace

The Last Jedi

Yeah, I've always said if they spent TOO much time with character development in Rogue One, then it would've been the most depressing final act in Disney history, lol...IMO the characters were developed as much as they needed to be, given the movie's ultimate outcome...

Anyway:

1a. A New Hope
1b. Empire Strikes Back
3. Rogue One
4. Return Of The Jedi
5. Solo
6. The Force Awakens
7. The Last Jedi
8. Revenge Of The Sith
9a. The Phantom Menace
9b. Attack Of The Clones

Empire Strikes Back
Revenge of the Sith (I give this one it's due because of the pacing and the questions it answers)

Return of the Jedi
Rogue One
The Force Awakens

Had a hard time with these three.

A New Hope
The Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
The Last Jedi

This...

Trumps this:

Plus the final battle scene in Rogue One is retarded. It's all over the place, reminded me of the CGI prequels.

TLJ doesn't even register as a Star Wars movie in my mind.
