the question wasn't quality or best. it was your favorite.

forgive me for enjoying the league.

I didn't mean quality in the general excellence of standard; I meant quality as in standard of something as measured against other things.

So, stated differently, the League is really top 5 material?... judging against all time shows that you have seen? I have never seen it. So, I know nothing about it. Just surprised people were naming it a top 5 favorite show of all time. Glad you like it, and by glad you like it, I mean that I really don't give a frick what shows people like. Just thought I might be missing out by not watching.

I don't think you are missing out. I'm not really a TV show person, more into movies and I prefer comedy so the League suits me fine. I guess you aren't missing much.. it's just quick-pace fun.

I'm surprised no mentions of In the Heat of the Night?

My current top five:

1. Game of Thrones
2. Breaking Bad
3. Justified
4. Sons of Anarchy
5. Homeland

Eta: to be honest, 3, 4, and 5 are all kinda interchangeable.

1. The Wire
2. The Shield
3. The Sopranos
4. Arrested Development
5. South Park

On the bubble (no order): Breaking Bad, Dexter, Battlestar

Need those three to finish (or just me finish watching) and rewatch a few times before I can assess them fully.

South Park isn't done, but there's not really deep, overarching storylines in South Park.

Arrested Development technically isn't done now either, but even just those three seasons are some of my favorites.
