You guys sound like you hate your wives. My wife fishes and grew up on a golf course -therefore golfs - and I enjoy spending time with her. Sucks for you if you dislike the person you married.

My gsp did that when she was a little pup too. Popped her with a rolled up magazine a when she did it. After a few times I just needed to walk into the room with the magazine and she'd stop. Then she just stopped altogether. Whatever you do, don't give in and let the dog out, or he/she will own you.

Oh, fer sure. They're good quality and super light. My wife wanted hers to ride to work (garden district to campus, roughly 10 min). She's ridden her's to work exactly zero times in the year that she's had it.

Eat at Pickles in the marina. The beach restaurant at the Marriott has all-you-can-eat prime rib and lobster Tuesdays and Thursdays at night, I think. They have a little Hobie sailboat and kayaks you can rent(or borrow if you're a guest) at the Marriott as well.

07 Florida game when they announced that Stanford beat USC that place was the loudest I've ever heard Tiger Stadium. It was a special night.

I'm not sure if they fixed the problem - I know they've been trying to - but the main dog park used to get a huge mud pit in the middle after it rained. One of my dogs took advantage of it.

There's a retriever training pond behind the fishing pond on the east side of the park. It's fenced in and has two islands in the middle. I doubt you can gun train there. It's good for bumper training though. If they haven't trimmed the brush on the islands though, I'd watch for snakes.
