It's pretty simple. A hormone addled teen is a lot more likely to have sex than commit murder based on movie glorification. It's about the likelihood of it negatively impacting the kids lives, not which act is better or worse.

no way I would let my 13 year old daughter go see The Hangover

I'm sure she has heard everything in it before, but still
It will be an unpopular decision with her, but this really is the right answer.

That they don't want to hear back talk from their disrespectful child. Being a good parent takes a lot of work and requires being the bad guy sometimes

I think restricting stuff like this causes girls to go nuts and be the biggest whores in their class. They will see it soon at a friends house.

So you're saying you'd rather let your daughter watch a naked shemale than some violence. I mean I can see this argument in a few films, but in THIS?!

So you're saying you think it's ok for a 13 year old to see Nudity rather than a murder on a show like CSI?

I don't get this, but it comes with the Social Conservative mindset.

My friends four year old, stole the Kick-arse DVD and watched it back to back, and thinks she is hit girl..lol

My brothers favorite movie at four was Terminator 2.

I don't see the problem with kids watching r rated movies, as long as they kniow its fake.

Yea, I went last night too. I was slightly disturbed when a girl no older than ten sat next to me with her parents. Throughout the movie they would explain to her stuff about what was going on, like an erection, or sperm. I was like WTF is wrong with you people?!

Heck I wouldt even want to take any female to this movie. IT has a TON of male bathroom humor.

I'm going with a chick tonight. Is that bad?

You be the judge. It's not a date movie if that's what you're looking for.

I saw the first Hangover with adult friends (laughted my butt off)but thought it was for college guys and older. That is why I posted my concern. All is well, they are out of school; they are off to lunch with a good responsible mother and will later see the new Pirates of the Carribean movie. Everything worked out because of the fine young men and women of TD Movie/TV Board.

the 15 or so flashes of cock in Hangover 2 looked pretty real to me

i dont think that is appropriate for a 13 year old girl.

I bet your daughter bought tickets for Pirates but still ended up walking into Hangover.

I'm pretty sure we saw it at the same theatre. I left and noticed how many teenagers were in there and was like wtf.

And no they shouldn't have been allowed to watch it
