1 Snow White
9 Robin Hood

The average age of this board is showing. For a lot of us, Robin Hood was THE Disney movie growing up (the 70s were fallow years), but come on... Snow f'n White.

5 Dumbo
13 Fox and the Hound

This shouldn't be close, but it will be. Dumbo is a masterpiece, and has some of the best classical animation of the Walt years.

6 Cinderella
3 Mary Poppins

Tough call, but I always go with small, woodland creatures to break a tie.

10 Jungle Book
2 Sleeping Beauty

I'm not afraid of Maleficent. My buddy Shere Khan is an even better villain.

1 The Lion King
8 Mulan

The dominant march to the finals continues.

5 The Little Mermaid
4 Aladdin

I really dislike Ariel, and feel she is the single worst Disney princess, When people bitch about the princesses, they're usually thinking of her. But EVERYTHING ELSE is amazing, especially a terrific songbook and one of the best villains ever.

6 Hercules
3 Beauty and the Beast

The fact Hercules won a single round is a complete indictment of this tourney. That movie suck balls.

7 Toy Story 2
2 Toy Story

Toy Story is the more iconic, but I truly believe the 2nd one is the best of the trilogy. It dealt with the trauma of a kid growing up long before the 3rd movie. And it has Robert Goulet.

It's pretty much gender-bias from the looks of it, that bodes well for Lion King at this point.

I think Frozen suffers from gender bias (especially against a movie about a video game -- could you GET more boy friendly?), but this bias is more age based. Robin Hood, Fox and the Hound, and Sword in the Stone for a certain generation were the movies most likely to be your first exposure to Disney. and it's hard to shake that. The animation is clearly a step down (but it does have Phil Harris, and that makes up for a lot), but for a certain age group: that is the Disney house style. That's also the generation that makes a big part of this board.

Sleeping Beauty is getting hurt by a tough draw. Jungle Book is the last movie Walt worked on, and it also has some of the most memorable songs ever. Jungle Book is real highly regarded by Disney geeks. This shouldn't be a 2nd round matchup.

i think on a message board filled mainly with male posters jungle book will go very far as its probably the most macho disney movie there is.

I also have a feeling LK is going to get massively overrated from here on out

How? It is widely considered one of the greatest Disney movies ever made. It won the golden globe for best picture, just like Beast did. It had excellent voice acting, pushed animation forward, a riveting story with tragedy and comedy, great music, memorable characters and pretty much everything else you want, not just out of a Disney movie, but out of a movie in general.

It is easily one of the greatest animated movies ever and deserves the praise it gets. Is it the best? Is it better than Beast? I don't know. Possibly. But it won't be overrated unless people start to say that it should run away with the tournament no problem.

9 Robin Hood - very hard vote here - this is more personal preference from when I grew up. I think Snow White is one of the bigger Disney Movies overall. Also, I have a 4 year old boy, so I've watched Robin Hood a lot more lately.

13 Fox and the Hound - Dumbo is good, but Fox captures more emotion for me.

3 Mary Poppins

2 Sleeping Beauty.

1 Lion King - not even close

5 Little Mermaid - only close one on this side of the bracket.

I think TLK, while a great film, is the most overrated Disney film. Always thought BatB was way better and the GOAT Disney film...but that's just my personal opinion.
